Ansah Amanor – Tefft Foundation Track and Field Award 2024

This senior doesn’t throw his weight around, but Ansah Amanor certainly does well throwing the discus, the javelin and the shot put.

What stood out on his application is that he barely mentions this. What he did stress is his helping and coaching the students at the middle school with their form and how to throw well. He spends hours helping student-athletes and middle school coaches after he finishes practicing. He will be missed.

And, English is not his first language. He’s learning to adjust to a different culture and learn a new language. Ayekoo, aben wo ha Ansah.
